Technology Transfer, Human Rights and Climate Change Side Event 15 June 2009
On June 11, 2009, the International Council on Human Rights Policy, the Center for International Environmental Law, and the Stockholm Environment Institute, held a panel discussion on “Technology Transfer, Human Rights and Climate Change” in Bonn, Germany. The panel discussed how bringing a human rights analytic rubric to bear on the expected impacts of climate change could help to direct attention to where the worst harms are foreseeable, which in turn can orient responses towards the most useful and urgent solutions.
