ICHRP Corruption report in Armenian available 24 June 2009
The International Council is pleased to announce the translation of its report, Corruption and Human Rights: Making the Connection, into Armenian.
The Armenian translation and publication was undertaken by Cassals and Associates, an international development and strategic communications firm. The publication of the International Council’s report in Armenia is a significant part of the measures taken by Casals and Associates to reduce corruption in Armenia.
Armen Harutyunyan, Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, welcomed the Armenian publication of the report, remarking that the report will “enrich Armenia’s anti-corruption literature” and “provide tangible guidance to human rights organizations on cooperating with more specialized anti-corruption institutions in order to promote synergies and maximize momentum.”
Three hundred copies of the Armenian translation have been printed and will be disseminated to actors in both the private and public sector in Armenia.
