Global Humanitarian Forum: Human Impact of Climate Change 30 June 2009
On 23 June 2009, Research Director Stephen Humphreys participated in a session at the annual Global Humanitarian Forum, on the “Human Impact of Climate Change”. The panel discussed potential options for legal recourse for the human rights harms produced by climate change, examining the possible judicial fora, the relevant rights, and likely obstacles, including jurisdiction, causation, standing, and liability.
