Universal Periodic Review: making it work 16 April 2008
On the occasion of the first session of the Universal Periodic Review (the brand new United Nations mechanism established by the Human Rights Council to periodically review the human rights situation in all UN member states), Executive Director Robert Archer chaired a panel discussion organised by the Dutch Section of the International Commission of Jurists and Justice and Peace Netherlands with the support of the International Commission of Jurists on 15 April 2008.
